"September Moonrise Over Still Waters" is a soft pastel painting I started plein air at Chain O’ Lakes, capturing the soft pastel blue and pink hues of the sky as the moon rose over the calm water. Completed in my studio, this piece reflects the peaceful beauty of a September evening, with the moonlight shimmering gently across the still lake.
